Fraud Prevention & Transaction Monitoring

How TN addresses website misuse, suspicious enquiries and payment concerns.

Last updated:

TN does not process payments. This page distinguishes existing website protections from the arrangements required for any future store payment service.

Current website and payment status

TN is a portfolio and enquiry website. It has no checkout, does not collect payments and has no live transaction-monitoring system. The linked stores currently do not create orders or collect payments through checkout. Any payment request claiming to come from this checkout should be treated as suspicious and checked with the team before you act.

The contact service applies validation, anti-spam checks, request limits and duplicate-submission controls. Checkout validates product references, quantities and catalogue prices before returning an unavailable response. These controls help reduce website misuse; they do not verify a bank or wallet payment.

Fraud prevention and prohibited activity

Do not use the website for stolen payment credentials, impersonation, forged receipts, unauthorised purchases, refund diversion, money laundering, terrorist financing or evasion of applicable sanctions. Information supplied for an enquiry or any future order must be accurate and authorised.

We never need your banking password, wallet PIN, CVV or OTP through a support form. Do not pay an unexpected personal account or follow a payment link sent by someone whose identity you have not verified. HTTPS alone does not establish that a message or payment request is genuine.

Monitoring of fraudulent transactions

Before payment collection is enabled, the merchant and the chosen provider must put the relevant verification, reporting and review arrangements in place. The intended review process includes matching provider-confirmed payments to the correct order, amount and currency; checking duplicate payment references and repeated failed attempts; and reviewing provider risk alerts, disputed authorisation, unusual transaction patterns and requests to redirect refunds.

A screenshot, customer-supplied receipt or browser success message must not be accepted as the sole proof of payment. Payment confirmation must be verified through the provider’s authenticated server response or appropriate merchant records. An alert is a reason to investigate, not proof that a customer committed fraud.

These requirements describe the process for an enabled payment service. They are not a claim of current automated screening, round-the-clock monitoring, payment-provider approval or fraud-free transactions.

Review, verification and escalation

Where a concern is identified, the proposed transaction or fulfilment may be paused where permitted, relevant references checked, and proportionate clarification requested. Sensitive identity documents must use an appropriate confirmed channel, not the general contact form. Know-your-customer (KYC) checks apply where required by the provider or applicable law.

Suspected unlawful activity may be referred to the relevant payment provider or competent authority where legally required or permitted. Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) restrictions apply to prohibited use, with information sharing limited to a lawful purpose. No financial-service licence or regulatory certification is implied.

Report an unauthorised payment or impersonation

If money has moved without your permission, contact your bank or wallet provider promptly through its official channel to secure the account and raise a dispute. Avoid repeating the payment while it is being checked.

Use Report a concern to send the store or website name, date, amount, transaction reference and a short explanation. Describe any suspicious message or link without sending credentials, full card details or unredacted identity documents. Keep evidence privately; the contact form does not accept attachments.

The website form is not an emergency account-blocking service. Your bank or wallet provider controls its own account restrictions and payment-dispute process.

Privacy, records and customer rights

Any review must use only relevant information, restrict access to people who need it and retain records only for a lawful purpose. Information may be preserved for an unresolved dispute or legal requirement. See the Privacy Policy for processing and your available choices.

A fraud review does not permit confiscating funds, imposing undisclosed penalties or removing lawful refund and dispute rights. Approved refunds must follow the original payment route or a provider-approved verified alternative. Request clarification or challenge an outcome through Complaints.
